2019 was an incredibly eventful year for the vacation rental industry. Major shifts started to happen that will undoubtedly show their effect in the New Year. Google started entering the short-term rental market. A wave of consolidation swept across the industry. The convergence between vacation rentals and hotels went into full force. The changes that occurred are too complex and too many to list.
However, 2019 wasn’t just a big year for the industry in general. It was big for us, too, as Rentals United became the first company to have a premier/preferred partnership with the top 5 travel channels: Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, Tripadvisor and Agoda.
And, 2019 was also a big year for our blog. We released the new design – which everyone seems to love – and revamped our content with lots of exciting insights from the vacation rental world.
