It’s the start of a brand new year – which means it’s time to say goodbye to 2022 and welcome 2023. But before we do, we want to share and celebrate what we’ve achieved over the past 12 months.

In 2022, we welcomed new partners, created new features and upgraded existing ones. We also launched a brand-new product for hosts and property managers with up to 9 properties.

Most importantly, we’ve spent another year doing what we love most – helping vacation rental property managers get more bookings, increase their profits and grow their businesses.

Now it’s time for a round-up of our 2022 highlights and a look ahead at what’s to come in 2023.

Feature Updates

In 2022, we spent time developing new features and upgrading existing ones.

Here’s a recap of the features and updates we rolled out over the past year.

Vacation rental website builder

You can now get more direct bookings by launching your own vacation rental website with our builder.

In just a few clicks, you can create a professional website for your properties where guests can book and pay directly with you.

That means no OTA commissions and fees and more opportunities to develop your brand and build long-term relationships with guests.

Elevate – the new and improved Data Studio

Data Studio has now become Elevate. The data platform provides property managers with exclusive, rich insights into property performance and the market.

Elevate provides metrics like channel share, booking velocity, year-on-year comparisons, revenue outlook (RevPAR, occupancy, blocked nights, available nights etc.), booking window, and much more.

Engaging reports and customisable dashboards give you a quick overview of how your properties are performing. With all this information at your fingertips, you can make better decisions about pricing and distribution to increase your income.

Multicalendar – one calendar for all your property bookings

Multicalendar was another new feature we added this year to aggregate all your bookings from every channel into a single calendar.

It’s the perfect way to get an overview of all your upcoming bookings in the days, weeks and months ahead. You’ll also be able to spot quiet times and adjust your prices to get booked up.

Airbnb API updates

We continue our Preferred Partner status with Airbnb, which puts us at the forefront of updates and new features from the platform.

This year, we worked on improving our connection to ensure that availability and pricing updates always happen in real-time.

As Airbnb introduced new features, like guest pre-approval and automated reviews, we ensured that all those features were enabled through Rentals United.

You can also update your amenities to align with updated categories on Airbnb.

New Product Launch: Powerhost

One of our proudest moments of 2022 was the launch of Powerhost, a new product bringing key features like channel management, website builder, reporting, guest communication and more into an all-in-one tool.

It’s a simple-to-use software designed to help hosts and property managers with 1-9 properties grow their businesses.

New Partnerships

We were excited to welcome several new partners on board, meaning an even greater selection of channels to list your properties and the ability to connect with your PMS of choice.

In 2022, we added 11 channel partners, two PMS partners and three connected services. Our new channel partners include Hopper and luxury niche site Smiling House.

What’s to Come in 2023

This year, we’ll focus on building new connections in India’s thriving vacation rental market.

We also want to make guest communication easier, faster and more effective through our unified inbox.

As always, we’ll keep adding to our list of channels, building new features and improving the experience for all our customers.

Thank you for all your support in 2022, we wish you a happy and successful 2023!
