We used Rentals United\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/rentalsunited.com\/elevate\/\">Elevate<\/a> to collect rich insights into ADR, LOS, booking window, cancellation rate, cancellation windows, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Align USA data with the <a href=\"https:\/\/rentalsunited.com\/blog\/global-vacation-rental-report-2022\/\">2022 Global Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this post, you\u2019ll find some of the highlights and takeaways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Compare against <a href=\"https:\/\/rentalsunited.com\/blog\/vacation-rental-industry-predictions-2022\/\">2022 Industry Predictions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><br>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/info.rentalsunited.com\/dwn_stats_usa\">Download the full USA Q3 2022 fact sheet<\/a> for detailed insights, including the top-performing channels in each destination. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"highlights-from-usa-vacation-rentals-q3-report\"><strong>Highlights From USA Vacation Rentals Q3 Report<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We looked at 7 locations across the USA: Kissimmee, Panama City, and Orlando (Florida), Las Vegas (Nevada), Scottsdale (Arizona), Gatlinburg (Tennessee) and North Myrtle (South Carolina)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our data covers property performance from July 1st to September 30th, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Kissimmee, Florida, received a significant amount of early-bird bookings<\/strong> \u2014\u00a047% of reservations were made 60+ days in advance. So, you may have a chance to increase your prices for early bookings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Panama City, Florida, saw a lot of late demand<\/strong> \u2014 45% of bookings were made in the last two weeks, meaning it might be possible to keep prices high in the last few days.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In Orlando, Florida, the booking window varied for different property sizes<\/strong> \u2014 Studios and one-bedrooms booked up around 19 days in advance. However, larger properties sold closer to 60 days out. ADRs were highest from 31-180 days before arrival. Check stats for other <a href=\"https:\/\/rentalsunited.com\/blog\/top-performing-cities-vacation-rentals\/\">Top Performing Cities<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Las Vegas saw considerable late demand<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2014 Is Las Vegas a last-minute, spontaneous destination? It seems like it. There was considerable late demand, and ADRs dropped significantly closer to check-in. Because of this last-minute demand, you may not need to drop your rates too drastically.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scottsdale, Arizona, was also popular with last-minute travellers<\/strong> \u2014 76% of reservations were made within 2 weeks of arrival, and 44% in the last 2 days. Again, this means you may be able to maintain your prices in the days leading up to check-in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>There was a reasonably high rate of cancellations in Gatlinburg, Tennessee<\/strong> \u2014\u00a036% of 3 and 4-bedroom properties were cancelled.
