Outcome

VHC Hospitality wanted to simplify their operations while also making the processes reliable and trustworthy for their guests. The company wanted to guarantee that all the information is accurate across all their distribution channels. Their PMS, Guesty, recommended Rentals United along with other channel managers. They tried 3 different channel managers and quickly realized that Rentals United is definitely the best one. They believed that the customer service is amazing and the tool very easy to use. They could not be more pleased with the results and support they have received from Rentals United.

Full Testimonial

With his entire career focused on travel and tourism, working for such companies as Walt Disney Parks and Resorts as well as large Brazilian tour operators, Fabio Cardoso founded VHC hospitality in 2015 to cater to guests in the Florida and Brazilian markets.  Fabio moved from Brazil to Orlando ten years ago to focus entirely on this business.

Currently, VHC Hospitality manages approximately 220 properties with headquarters in Orlando and properties located in Orlando/Kissimmee, Miami and various cities in Brazil.  VHC  was sold to CVC Corp, the biggest travel organization in South America with presence in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and Chile. CVC Corp is a public company acting in all tourism segments (leisure travel, corporate travel, OTA, hospitality) with more than 3 billion US$ in incomes yearly.

VHC offers a 360 degree solution for property owners and guests.  For Owners, they take care of their properties including all maintenance and inspections required to guarantee a perfect stay for the guests and to maximize owners’ investment. They use a variety of technologies to guarantee the best result for the owner (highest occupancy with the highest rate).

For guests, they also provide 24x7 services in English, Portuguese and Spanish to guarantee the best experience to the guest. VHC also offers a concierge service to enhance the experience such as destination hospitality such as tours, park tickets, and reservations, and home services such as cleaning, catering, décor, and events.

Per the business, VHC wanted to simplify their operations while also making the processes reliable and trustworthy for their guests. Their PMS, Guesty, recommended Rentals United along with other channel managers.  Along with Guesty and their yield manager, Beyond Pricing, VHC has been able to better streamline their business operations.

As for the future, their goal is to increase the number of properties in the destinations where they already operate and simultaneously increase the number of destinations where they operate. They want to expand operations further in other cities in Florida, US, Brazil, and expand to other countries in Europe, the Caribbean and South America.

VHC believes that they were able to weather the challenges during the Covid pandemic by having a wider distribution network, guaranteeing the quality of our offerings, and by using the correct pricing models. They didn’t provide huge discounts during this time and their bookings have remained stable. Of course, altering their cancellation policies also helped a lot.

FAQ

No, they're not. Some listing sites add their commission on top of the prices you save. These channels want your net rates. Other channels will charge their commission from the prices you save. For the later, you have the possibility to mark your rates up to cover for their commission. We inform you in details how the channels work after you sign-up.
