Step 1: Upload or Import your Properties
Once you have signed up to Rentals United, we will ask you to upload your properties manually using our 15-minute property upload tool, or if you have an Airbnb account you can pull your listing straight from them.
Step 2: Rentals United Quality Checker
Run your listings through the Rentals United Quality Checker. This optimisation report will state where improvements are needed for each property to increase their marketability and reach. From the amount of images at the right resolution to whether rates or amenities are missing. Don’t underestimate the power of the Quality Checker - the time spent on your rental optimisation will be rewarded with improved conversion rate in the channels.
Step 3: Instant Booking Page
Get your guests to book directly using our optimised Book Direct pages. With every property you upload, we automatically create a sleek property page advertising your prices, availability, photos and content. Guests can check your pricing & availability right away, proceed to checkout and confirm the reservation.
Step 4: Channels
You will be contacted by your dedicated Implementation Specialist who will suggest appropriate channels for your distribution mix. They will clarify all the detailed information on channel requirements (many channels have their own set of rules and commissions).
Step 5: Simplicity at its finest: The onboarding process

All you need to start using Rentals United is upload your property information:
Manually : Add your rentals manually using our 15 minutes property upload tool (or import from Airbnb)
Via a PMS : If you have your properties stored in one of the 50 property management systems we work with

To make the most of our platform, firstly choose which Listing Sites you want to work with. You will also have access to Yield Managers, Payment Providers and other services.

Stage 1: Account configuration
You will meet your implementation specialist who will provide you a guided tour of our platform to help you navigate with ease. Together, you will review and ensure that the account and properties are ready for sales channels configuration. If work is needed, you will be assigned homework to be completed before the next follow up call. Sales channel connections cannot be done until your account and properties meet the minimum requirements.
Once completed, you will together with your implementation specialist set up goals on what sales channels to connect with for the next part of your onboarding.

Stage 2: Sales Channels Connection
Your implementation specialist will advise you on how to navigate your Rentals United account for channel connection and configuration.
Sign-ups can differ from one channel to the next, and some channels you already work with might ask you to sign a new agreement. Your implementation specialist will give you extensive documentation on each to help you understand specific requirements and processes for sign-up. The channels defined setup process and your responsiveness and ability to complete tasks required by the channels will affect the time to get connected.
We will check your homework and advise on other channels that fit your property type, location or traveller profile, thus becoming a perfect new source for more bookings.
We will answer any questions you have and check to see if your connections are all well established & working smoothly.

Stage 3: Features and Growth
Based on the channels connected and the specific requirements of your account setup, your implementation specialist will advise you how to best optimise your distribution.
Your onboarding is now coming to an end, you have developed the skills to use Rentals United platform yourself. From this moment, you will have at your disposal the support team who will assist via email for any technical assistance required.
Property managers who work with 20+ properties will be introduced to their Key Accounts Manager, who from then on will be your point of contact for any business-related questions and distribution optimisation.

Upload your properties to Rentals United and run the report. From there you’ll see a status icon that shows whether it’s ready to be connected to OTAs or your listing needs some work:
- Green tick: your listing meets all our requirements and can go live on channels.
- Yellow mark: your listing is incomplete. It needs improvement before it can go live.
You will be able to go through each property and amend the listing quality from the recommendations the Quality Checker provides, using this tool is the fastest way to get your new inventory online or go live on new channels.
