I'm already connected to some of your sales channels, why should I work with you?
Most of our customers are like you and they came to us because they wanted to synchronise all their calendars, avoid double bookings and lower the cost of managing bookings.
Our focus is on distributing your properties on the right marketing channels, so any change you make on the descriptions, photos, prices or availability will be shown on all sales channels.
I'm connected to Sales Channels not on your list, can you synchronise with those?
We can synchronise your availability as most channels will accept our iCal link. Check that the Sales Channel as an 'import calendar' tool and just paste your Rentals United ICal link in there. Now you just need to keep your Rentals United calendar up-to-date.
I'm using a PMS. Can it be connected to your system?
What is the minimum amount of information I need in order to connect my rentals?
We ask for the following information about your properties so they will be eligible on all the channels we work with: headline title (the name of the property, 70 characters is ideal), property type (Villa, Apartment, etc.), description (700 characters minimum without HTML), minimum stay, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, maximum of guests, geographical longitude/latidude, country, state, province, floor area (size in sqm or feet), rates, availability, photos (2048 x 1536 pixels minimum), amenities per room, floor level, cancellation policy, arrival instructions, payment schedule.
Can you upload my properties for me?
Yes absolutely. You'll see this option when you sign up in our new release (August 2015) and meanwhile you can send your properties URLs to our support team who will take care of uploading all the details for you in our system.
We charge 2,8% commission on the booking amount. We bill you at the end of the month of arrival or as soon as you reach €100 in commission. We don't charge you for cancellations.
Is the sales channel commission included in your fee?
No. Some channels mark your rates up and others take a commission. For those that take a commission we give you the possibility to scale your rates up.
How will I receive the payments for the reservations?
That depends on the channel. Some channels collect money for you others don't, and some just collect parts of the total. How channels work is clearly explained before you connect to them on Rentals United.

Do I have to pay your commission even though there’s a cancellation?
No you don't. If there's a cancellation you will not be charged a commission from Rentals United.
