"Home From Home" is a property management company based in London. With over 26 years of experience they manage 250 properties today. The company has been working with Rentals United since 2015. Emma Campani, marketing manager at Home From Home kindly answered our questions.

The Problem

In 2015 "Home From Home" was looking to get more bookings and realised that in order to do that they needed to increase their visibility online. They were already advertising on 4 channels manually and couldn’t add any more without an automated solution. This is how the relationship with Rentals United started in late 2015.

The Solution

Home From Home was able to connect their in-house management system via API to Rentals United. The connection would transfer any changes from the database (pricing, availability) to all the channels Home From Home decided to work with and vice versa: when a channel made a booking this was reflected in their in-house database automatically.

The first step was to move the existing HomeAway account to a Rentals United powered account which went very smoothly says Emma. Next Emma was able to choose more channels to work with. "Home From Home" went from advertising on 4 channels in 2015 to 17 channels in 2016, massively increasing their brand’s visibility online.

While "Home From Home" customers have traditionally been from the US and Australia, Emma reports now also getting bookings from the Middle East via a Rentals United connected channel, Booking.com.

When asked what tools Emma enjoys on Rentals United she answered "We can easily see which channels brings us most of our bookings. Today it’s HomeAway." and the fact that she can download all her bookings on excel. She adds that she’s a big fan of Rentals United customer support "My Account Manager calls me up every week to find out if I need anything!".
